Is your child having difficulty explaining themselves through writing? Adding detail can be difficult for a child to think of on their own, so help them learn how to with this free explanatory worksheet and prompt!

Simply print out the worksheet and prompt your child with the sentence starter of, “The best kind of weather is…” and have them finish the sentence. Then, encourage your student to write as much as possible. If they run out of ideas then prompt them with questions such as, “Why is this the best?” “What do you do in this weather?” “Who enjoys this weather too?” “What is the worst kind of weather?”
