Cremona is a city and comune in northern Italy, situated in Lombardy, on the left bank of the Po River in the middle of the Pianura Padana (Po valley). It is the capital of the province of Cremona and the seat of the local city and province governments.

What really made this city famous, was its long tradition of violin-making. For centuries this little town has been specializing in making one of a kind violins which are exported to several countries and are used by the world’s best musicians. The city has not yet become an important tourist destination so it wouldn’t be very crowded even during the tourist seasons.
