USA Flags – Confederate Navy Jack

The Second Confederate Navy Jack is the most well known flag of the Confederacy even though it is the last of three official Confederate flags. Also known as the Blood Stained Banner, this flag has a red field (the blood stain) with two blue bars crossed in an “X”, inside the bars are 13 white stars. The main difference between this flag and the more commonly known Battle Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia (or simply, the Confederate Flag) is that the blue bars are significantly lighter than the dark blue of the battle flag.
