When we think of birds what comes to our mind first is colorful feathers, pleasant twitters and songs, fragile wings. However, some birds are excellent hunters and fierce predators. Raptors or birds of prey hunt and feed on other animals, they catch them with their sharp claws and have a hooked beak with which they can tear flesh into edible chunks. They are highly intelligent, have excellent eyesight and are true acrobats in air. Some of their best known representatives are eagles, hawks and falcons.
